Pros of 978 and 999 aquarium light

The 978 aquarium light has a separable adapter. As a result, if damaged, it is no need to replace the whole light. Also, the light is soft, and the color rendering index is close to natural light, which avoids causing discomfort for fish and humans. Additionally, the 978 light is suitable for freshwater fish-only tanks and planted tanks.

On the other side, 999 aquarium light is mainly designed for tanks keeping freshwater fish and aquatic plants, especially plants demanding low light. By scientifically adjusting, the three primary colors simulate natural light without flickering. It boosts the growth of aquatic plants and makes the water more sparkly clean from a visual. The ultra-bright LED light is beneficial to green aquarium plants and is ideal for freshwater fish and aquarium plants of low light but high brightness. Also, the 999 light has a power-off memory function for the use of an IC memorizer. Consequently, the setting of the aquarium light will not be lost after resuming work.

  1. Hi, I have the 978 light. Only one of the mounting brackets seems to be adjustable/removable. I bought risers and was hoping to replace the original brackets with higher ones. The bracket on the cord end won’t come out. Anything I’m missing?

    1. Hi,
Would you please shoot a video and sent to [email protected]?
hygger customer service is waiting to solve the issue more accuracy for you.
      Thanks

  2. It sounds like you are not aware of the actual numbers and are using figures from imagination, as the difference between 10 cm and 35 cm is enormous according to the inverse square law. If the PPFD (it’s more correct to say PPFD, not PAR) is 153.4 at a distance of 10 cm, then at 35 cm it would already be only 12.52 PPFD.

    1. Hi BigJeff,
The LED light installation distance is from 10 to 35 cm.
When measure the PAR value, the measure distance is the max 35 cm.

      Thanks

  3. Does the HG999 22w model have a PAR spectrum map? I want to understand which spectrum is stronger, red or blue. And “It is the measurement value under the normal installation distance.” – it’s about 30-35cm from the lamp to the bottom?!

    1. BigJeff,
      The HG999 22W has a 153.4 PAR.
      And the red is stronger.
Generally, the LED light installation distances around 10-35 cm from the lamp to the bottom.

  4. I mean, is 153 the value measured directly under the lamp, or at some distance from it? Since the higher the lamp is above the illuminated surface, the lower the PAR that actually reaches it.

    1. Hi BigJeff,
It is the measurement value under the normal installation distance.

  5. Hi, I buy HG999 22w , what are the Lumens and Par(ppf) on this device? and and from what distance are you talking about 0 or 30cm?

    1. Hi BigJeff,
The HG999 22W, Lumens is 1480, and the Par is 153.4.
from what distance are you talking about 0 or 30cm? – Can this question be explained in more detail?

      Thanks

  6. May I ask what the PAR values are for the hg999 36w model at 12 and 18 inches?

    1. Hi Ed,
      The hg999 36W model’s PAR value is 196.4.
Its length is 34.4 inches, but not 12 and 18 inches.

      Thanks

  7. Hi there do you guys have a rough idea of the par value for the 26w 978 light please. Many thanks

    1. Hi Alan,
The 26W 978 light has the 172.2 PAR.

      Thanks
