Default mode (24/7 natural mode)
hygger 990 aquarium light default mode includes sunrise-daylight-moonlight mode:
Gradient Orange light (sunrise) from 6 am to 8 am;
Gradient White light from 8 am to 6 pm;
Gradient Blue light (moonlight) from 6 pm to 10: 50 pm;
The 24 / 7 lighting aquarium lights are off during other periods.
The overall default period can be delayed or advanced.
DIY mode
Full spectrum aquarium light is composed of time + brightness + color.
①3 setting time (TIMER key): 3 kinds of time, 6h, 10h, or 12h;
②5 Brightness : 10%-25%-50%-75%-100%-75%-50%-25%-10%；
③7 Color (ON-OFF / M key): White, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Orange, Cyan, Cycle Color (No Brightness / Timer Selection).
New upgrade
Clip-on bracket, easy to install for the fish tank has a canopy top, and aquarium LED light can be used for glass of different thicknesses. The body of the fish tank light can be taken off and installed horizontally or vertically. Even if the separable adapter is damaged, no need to replace the whole light. Thicken aluminum increases heat dissipation. Suitable for fish tank walls less than 0.9 inches thick.
High-quality light
The hygger aquarium lighting is soft, and the color rendering index is close to natural light, up to 85%, to avoid the discomfort caused by stroboscopic to the fish and viewers. High-quality 2835 + 5050 model lamp beads, a long service life of at least 50,000 hours. Easy to maintain.

Usage Tips
How to set the light local time?
For example, if your local time is 2 p.m., and you need to wait for 1 hour until the local time is 15 o’clock, then you can press the 24/7 button to select the 15 o’clock indicator lights up, then the setting is successful, and it starts to run.

These lights, which cost less than half of the she-she brand, provide the same bright, broad spectrum light many aquarium plants need to thrive.
Clip is strong, never had to readjust. Not the best light but strong enough to reach the bottom of a 36g bowfront, 18 inches-ish. Heavily planted tank and plants are thriving.
Fantastic light for my 7 gallon planted cube. Enough to illuminate the colors of the fish and keep my plants happy! I love the timer feature, I just set it and forget it.
Fish and plants love it on the 24hr mode with simulated sunrise, peak.afternoon brightness, and simulated sunset.

I have a starlight pleco that I have almost never seen since I got it. This light has allowed me to see it more now because of the timer and dimmer. While I don’t see it during the day, I end up seeing it for the last 4 hours the light is on. I absolutely recommend this light it’s beautiful.
The light works great perfect for a 10 gallon aquarium that I keep cichlid fry in. The light has many different functions which work perfectly. Cost is very reasonable. Sure I could have bought an more expensive light but this works perfectly fine for what it needs to do which is raise fry until they are big enough to join larger tanks. Impressive design easy setup works great and I would definitely recommend it.
Good quality! You can mount it on either the long or short side of your tank. The timer’s awesome — even gives you a sunrise effect in the morning, which is super cool. Simple, clean design and the remote’s really easy to figure out. Only thing I’d change is the blue light — could be a bit better. But overall, my tank’s doing great with this light
Make sure to keep the screws loose-ish as an even slightly over-tightening them will leave permanent marks on the tanks. Very energy efficient though on 24/7 day cycle mode.
I bought this for my 20 gallon fish tank- live plants and fish. My plants are just flourishing and my goldfish love the steady lighting. The light has a timer option, where it slowly brightens with orange light in the morning, slowly grows brighter to white in the afternoon, and dims in the evening with blue. It’s incredible- looks just like sunrise/midday/sunset. It cycles for the whole day, shutting off from 10pm-7am. It’s truly a beautiful light, very high quality, low cost, real metal!
