This HG176 compact filter provides dual-stage filtration:

Replaceable Filter Sponge & Bio-balls
The first level is physical filtration through the microporous filter sponge; water passes through the small filter box with ceramic balls for biochemical filtration.
Two Easy Mounting Methods
- Extendable Pipe with Suction Cup: For tanks of any wall thickness — stable and easy to position.
- Hang-On Extendable Plastic Clip: Ideal for tanks under 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) thick.
Special Use with Air Pump
With 2 suction cups fixed on the tank wall firmly. Suitable for use when the filter is installed at the bottom of the tank.
The hose connection on the top of the rotating aeration outlet head can be connected to the air pump (not included) to add more oxygen. Pneumatic air plus USB electric, double enhance oxygen to water and circulate water in the tank.

Usage Tips
- Please rinse and soak all filter materials before use.
- The filter sponge should be replaced or cleaned every 2–4 weeks.
- If the water flow is significantly weakened or off, the filter sponge should be checked and cleaned immediately.
- It does not contain a USB adapter head (Need DC 5V 1A), or use other.
