The Black Knight Cleaning Kit is an essential toolkit that includes a flat sponge for cleaning the sides of the tank, a 45-degree angle sponge for cleaning the corners, a gravel rake, a tube brush, a 4-inch fish net, and a razor blade. I used every tool in the kit.
Frankly, when I bought the kit, I did not think I would use the gravel rake or tube brush. It turns out both are really nice attachments. I use the rake to move the gravel around in the tight spaces so the decaying food will resettle on top of the gravel, which makes it easier for the Sterbai Corydoras to reach their food source. The tube brush is used to clean the spillway on the hang-on-the-back filters. It works really well. Bonus! The telescopic handle is very sturdy, and much nicer than the handle that comes with and it is easy to connect/disconnect the attachments. I can’t think of anything negative to say about this toolkit.
Note: The razor blade is very sharp, and Hygger states it is designed for glass aquariums only. In my opinion, despite being really careful, using this razor blade on an acrylic aquarium will result with a damaged aquarium.
