However, if you do not want to program the light, all you need to do is to set the local time and let the programmable LED light run its automatically 24-hour cycle in which the modes of sunrise, daylight, sunset, and night are all included!

The light will automatically on at 630 am and turn itself off at 1130 pm. There is a very sweet function of ramp-up and ramp-down meaning the light will be on and off in a 15-minute duration. This is also going to make sure that your skittish fish will not be scared due to the sudden change of lighting.

During the daytime, you will enjoy the full spectrum of lighting. At night, you could choose from any of those 6 colors: dark blue, green, purple, cyan, yellow, and red.

You could also change the brightness of the light from 10% to 100% in default mode. Brightness is one of the most important factors that you need to take into consideration when comes to buying LED lights. When you first move the aquarium plants to a new fish tank, they are so scared that they tend not to grow. In this case, you could change the brightness to 20% and wait until the plants settle down to make the light brighter.

For DIY mode, you are going to have 8 time slots to choose from. You could decide how long does each of the 8 time slots last. You could make the period last for 2 hours, 8 hours or 12 hours, etc. During those 12 hours, you could change the brightness to 0, yes, you could change the brightness to 0 in DIY mode to let your fish and plant have a good night’s sleep!
