The 100W Aquarium Light by Hygger, is a very nice option for all my aquatic plants that’s super bright, with the right spectrum to keep them growing and looking good. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.
I. Quality – This light looks and feels like a very well-made product. From the aluminum used to the light, it all feels higher quality.
II. Performance – The light output is very bright and puts off a good spectrum to keep the plants happy. It also makes everything look a bit better, just by the clear light it projects into the tank. The aluminum material is solid and provides a good appearance. It was fairly easy to mount, but could be tricky depending on what you have on the lip of the tank and where you want to mount it. It gets hot when on for extended periods, but that should be expected with a 100W light. It would’ve been nice to have a dimmer, so I can adjust based on the plant’s needs, I don’t always need full blast.
Overall, this is a high quality, great performing light with solid construction and it seems to keep the plant happy and the tank looking good. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.

Incredible light. My plant growth is exceptional in both health and color. The color rendition is amazing. I have purchased eight of these in the past few months as I upgrade my tanks. I can’t justify choosing any other light when you get this kind of performance with the Max Pro.
Best aquarium light I have bought so far with great amount of brightness . The only negative comment I have about thid light is that it could get loud at times due to the fan. Grest build quality with very little assembly required.
I got this light for my 2′ x 2′ x 2′ cube aquarium. It is beautiful full spectrum light, probably the most natural looking of all my lights. I would not use on shallower tanks as this has a huge focusing lens which creates a penetrating beam that may be too intense for plants in shallower water. Highly recommend. High quality and easy to assemble.
