Indicator Light Design
The HG149 flow pro filter provides biological, chemical, and mechanical filtration for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It is designed with an indicator light reminder that works by detecting when water starts to overflow around the filter chamber due to the cartridge being clogged, the LED indicator light will turn on to remind you to replace the filter cartridge.
3-in-1 Filter Cartridge
The aquarium flow pro filter has a 3-in-1 filter cartridge, and can be added to other filter media:
– Double-sided high-density mesh filters out large particles and debris;
– Activated carbon removes odors and impurities.
– Bio-filter pad provides more surface area for beneficial bacteria to thrive.
Saving Space HOB Filter
The hygger 149 flow pro filter can be mounted to the outside of the aquarium wall without taking up valuable tank space, and you don’t have to worry about disturbing fish when removing the filter for cleaning.
Water Circulation
The filtered water flows back into the tank as a mini waterfall, with a trickle, which helps the outflow maximize water surface agitation and oxygenation. The water inlet has a sponge to prevent small fish or shrimp from getting suck in.
Adjustable Water Flow
The water flow speed can be adjusted through the top knob; its max flow rate is 315 GPH. The intake tube can extend to the desired depth of the tank.

Usage Tips
- Raising the water level in the aquarium can reduce the sound of waterfalls caused by water level differences.
- Please replace the filter cartridges every 2- 4 weeks to avoid blockage.

I love this filter. It’s kinda loud but I don’t mind cause it gets the job done perfectly. Only issue I had is the filter cartridge it came with constantly caused the water level to rise which the light indicator showed but a different filter cartridge and you’re set!
