Usage Tips
- Installation & Compatibility
- Designed for rimless glass or acrylic tanks with a maximum thickness of 0.7 inches (18mm).
Not compatible with framed aquariums. - Use the adjustable mounting bracket to secure the light. Adjust up/down or forward/backward to evenly distribute light across the aquascape.
- For a framed fish tank, some of our customers used nylon washers or sponges to take up the open space of the mounting bracket and get a stable fit.
- Lighting Schedule Automation
- Pair with a digital timer or smart plug (sold separately) to automate lighting.
Recommended schedule: 810 hours ON per day to promote healthy plant growth and prevent algae.
- Optimal Placement for Plant Health
- 60W model: Mount 6–10 inches above water for tanks up to 18″ deep.
- 100W model: Mount 10–12 inches above water for tanks up to 24″ deep.
- Heat Management
- Ensure ventilation is unobstructed, with 2–3 inches of space around the light.
- While warm to the touch, the light is safe during operation. Do not cover or place objects on the unit.
- Cleaning & Maintenance
- Always unplug before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the fixture and bracket weekly.
- Avoid water contact with the lens or fan. Never submerge the unit.
- Preset Use for Convenience
- Use the on/off switch to activate the default lighting.

These lights are amazing. I bought them for my African Cichlids and South American tanks and the color difference in my fish is crazy!
This is a fabulous light. I have a couple of them now. I will be buying another here soon. I love how they look and the plants love the light. They work great for floaters and then the light is strong enough to go through the floaters and into the bottom of the tank for the rest of the plants in the tank. I am using the light in a 60 gallon rimless tank. It has a great mount on the light. They used strong aluminum for the housing of the light and the structure of the light. Thank you hygger for a amazing light.
Switching to these lights was like going from Standard definition to 4k video, absolutely stunning.
This light is just what I was looking for. It looks cool, its quiet and I like the amount of light it projects. The only thing I had a problem with was that the supplied bracket didn’t work with my tank. The light itself is a 4 out of 5 and for me the bracket is a 1 out of 5.
