The hygger 147 dual rod heater is made of explosion-proof quartz, which can heat up quickly and more efficiently. It has a thickened detachable ABS guard that is easy to clean, and an external LED digital display controller. Its temp range is 59–94℉ within a ±1℉/℃ temp accuracy.

Anti-cooking Fish System
When the water temperature is higher than 95℉, the dual rod heater will stop heating and the controller will display “HH” and “Beeping” alarm, effectively protecting the fish from being cooked. When the water temp below 94℉, the heater will restart heating.
Memory Function
When power is restored, the dual rod heater will continue to work according to the previous setting.
Auto Off When Out Of Water
The hygger aquarium dual rod heater is equipped with an out-of-water sensor. When it is out of the water surface 5cm, it will auto stop heating and the controller will display “L1” and a beeping alarm. You can fully immerse the heater in water to solve the issue.
Fast Stable Heating
The hygger 147 aquarium heater consists of two heating rods, made of explosion-proof quartz and high-temperature-resistant nickel-chrome wire, which can heat up quickly and stably. When the temperature is 1°F below the set temperature, the aquarium heater will automatically start heating.
Usage Tips
- Submerge the heater more than 5 inches below the water.
- Don’t bury the heater in the substrate.

I suggest losing the orange stripe. I purchased another heater from you via eBay which has the orange stripe wrapping around the unit. In the tanks it’s distracting with no real way to disguise it.
