External Pump Waterfall Filter
hygger 287 waterfall aquarium filter has a hang-on-back design that saves valuable internal tank space while providing mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration and creating a gentle waterfall. The black transparent color helps provide better conditions for purifying water quality.
Detachable Water Pump
The detachable pump can be used separately for changing water or emptying the water tank. The water pump is 160 gallons per hour, with a maximum lift of 3.9 feet.
Power-On Auto Start
Just hang it on the water tank and plug it in, the hygger aquarium waterfall filter automatically starts when the power is turned on.
5 Level Modular Chambers
The waterfall filter has 5 compartments. Each chamber can be filled with different filtering materials. The attached filter material includes filter sponge, ceramic balls, ceramic rings, and carbon wool. You can also use your own filter media for filter filling.
Triple filtration HOB filter
-Mechanical: dual density sponge (20ppi and 30ppi) can filter out larger impurities; -BIO: ceramic rings and ceramic balls can provide an environment to clear water;
-Chemical: black charcoal cotton with activated carbon as the final layer of multiple filtration.

Usage Tips
- Installation takes less than 5 minutes.
- Just hang it on the tank back, fill it with water once, and plug it in. The detachable pump and filter basket make weekly cleaning effortless.
- Fill each stage with the media of your choice—bio media, additional sponges, chemical resins, or our included ceramic balls and carbon pads.
- Please clean the filter once every two weeks and replace it every 2-3 months.
