Auto On/Off Aquarium Fish Tank Light
hygger LED aquarium lighting uses an IC memorizer which has a power-off memory function. After the light resumes work, the fish tank light setting will not be lost.
Programmable design with LCD monitor
It features programmable, gradual 24-hour light cycle settings with daylight and moonlight. To create optimal conditions for your tank inhabitants, there are six setting buttons to ensure the more convenient light setting you want. You can see the current time, current mode, running start time or running end time, current light color, and brightness on the LCD.
Note: When the time is up, the light will turn on or off automatically.

Advanced Programmable Lighting Modes
1.’53’ DIY Mode:
This mode allows for 8 distinct periods (L1-L8) throughout a 24-hour cycle. Each period can be individually programmed with specific start and end times, light colors, and brightness levels to create a personalized lighting schedule that mimics natural conditions. It will automatically display each period’s preset color and brightness settings.
2.’51’ Day Mode:
In this mode, the light emits a warm white light, combining red, green, blue, and white (W+R+G+B) LEDs. The transition between on and off states is gradual, taking 15 minutes to ensure a smooth start and end to the day cycle.
3.’52’ Night Mode:
Night mode offers a choice of 7 colors—red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, or purple. Like the day mode, the light transitions on and off over 15 minutes, providing a gentle shift between day and night.
Note:
1. Brightness adjustment: The intensity of the white light can be adjusted from a soft 10% to a full 100%.
2. Time setting: Both day and night modes can be set according to your tank needs.
Usage Tips
1. Setting Local Time:
Use the Up and Down buttons to adjust the local time in hours. Once set, press the gear button to confirm the time.
2. Resetting Local Time:
When ’24H’ is flashing on the display, use the Up and Down buttons to switch between ’12H’ and ’24H’, then press the gear button to confirm your selection.
3. Programming Setup: Press the ‘M’ button to cycle through the modes: ’51’ for Day mode, ’52’ for Night mode, and ’53’ for DIY mode.
Notes:
1. Press the BULB icon to turn off the light in any mode.
2. When the light is off, press the BULB icon again to turn it back on.
Tips:
1. Before using the light, read all important notices and instructions provided.
2. Do not touch any moving or hot parts to prevent injury.
3. Ensure the light is correctly mounted and securely positioned on the aquarium before operating.
4. Always ensure the light brackets are placed outside the aquarium frame.

Great, effective, nice looking light that really brightened up my aquarium compared to the lighting I had previously. I love the timer that has regular daylight and then kicks on the moonlight afterwards. With the options to turn off/on, higher/lower and different tones. For the price especially, I’d definitely recommend this light!
Our original aquarium lids had built in LED lighting, but over time moisture caused the LEDs to fail. This time I wanted lighting that was separated from the water to eliminate this risk. , there is a control box which allows you to set 3 levels of lighting, day, night and off, and a timer for when each switches over. Light increases slowly over about 5 minutes for the day period, and you can set the light intensity maximum, night is a soft blue, again on a timer. The fish seem to like it, and being able to dial down the intensity makes them less skittish, and the plants are growing well.
This is by far the best aquarium light I have ever ordered. It has amazing colors and brightness settings. If you have ever had experience setting timer settings before than you should have no problem. It’s common sense….. or you could read the instruction that ARE VERY CLEAR. If you are thinking about getting this light, DO IT!
So far very happy with this light, especially considering the price. The in-line controller is easy to program and the instruction manual is fairly straight forward. Build quality, fit and finish seem nice with the low profile look. In daylight mode, the light will increase automatically in 1% increments over a period of time in the morning. Daylight and moonlight times can be overlapped. I have not noticed any flickering and the fish do not seem to be bothered by the light. The brightness seems more than adequate for the 6 gallon pico tank I placed it on and it brings out the colors in the fish and live plants nicely. So far would recommend.
This is a great adjustable aquarium light. You can adjust the length based on the size you buy so it can fit multiple sized aquariums. It does have an option to dim the brightness and or change the color however trying to navigate and get it all set up can take a little time the first attempt. Once you get the hang of it it’s rather easy and you can set it on a timer which is nice. I usually don’t run it at full brightness and I have it set to Blue light at the end of the day. I wasn’t familiar with the brand before I bought it but it’s words perfect for my 29 gallon aquarium.
I just adjusted the hg 999 36 w to my tank and the result is magnificent. The aquascape is now vivid and fish colors are great. The procedure to program the daylight and nightlight is very easy. Overall, this is a great product.
However, in case a power outage occurs, even for 30 seconds, the clock needs to be adjusted. The day and night program is stored in the memory, but without the clock setting I doubt if the program will be executed.

This light is great! I have 3 of them at this point and will probably be getting more. They are adjustable depending on the tank, so my cubes are lit as well as my long 55s. The timer function is great, and the adjustable lights are nice. The blue lights are a great touch. It is the light on the lower 55 in the back, it’s hidden by some black poster board cause I’m on camera all the time.
I purchased HG990-18 and my review is an Impresive performance, color rendering is amazing! But I only require the PAR for this model, could you please provide it? Thanks

I have model HG-999 36W and I’m very happy of the features on the device. Solving one thing would make it even better. I haven’t find a way to turn off the display on LCD monitor controller. Any hints to share how do that. It giving some unwanted light during the night.
