Default mode (24/7 natural mode)
hygger 990 aquarium light default mode includes sunrise-daylight-moonlight mode:
Gradient Orange light (sunrise) from 6 am to 8 am;
Gradient White light from 8 am to 6 pm;
Gradient Blue light (moonlight) from 6 pm to 10: 50 pm;
The 24 / 7 lighting aquarium lights are off during other periods.
The overall default period can be delayed or advanced.
DIY mode
Full spectrum aquarium light is composed of time + brightness + color.
①3 setting time (TIMER key): 3 kinds of time, 6h, 10h, or 12h;
②5 Brightness : 10%-25%-50%-75%-100%-75%-50%-25%-10%；
③7 Color (ON-OFF / M key): White, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Orange, Cyan, Cycle Color (No Brightness / Timer Selection).
New upgrade
Clip-on bracket, easy to install for the fish tank has a canopy top, and aquarium LED light can be used for glass of different thicknesses. The body of the fish tank light can be taken off and installed horizontally or vertically. Even if the separable adapter is damaged, no need to replace the whole light. Thicken aluminum increases heat dissipation. Suitable for fish tank walls less than 0.9 inches thick.
High-quality light
The hygger aquarium lighting is soft, and the color rendering index is close to natural light, up to 85%, to avoid the discomfort caused by stroboscopic to the fish and viewers. High-quality 2835 + 5050 model lamp beads, a long service life of at least 50,000 hours. Easy to maintain.

Usage Tips
How to set the light local time?
For example, if your local time is 2 p.m., and you need to wait for 1 hour until the local time is 15 o’clock, then you can press the 24/7 button to select the 15 o’clock indicator lights up, then the setting is successful, and it starts to run.

I bought this for my 20 gallon fish tank- live plants and fish. My plants are just flourishing and my goldfish love the steady lighting. The light has a timer option, where it slowly brightens with orange light in the morning, slowly grows brighter to white in the afternoon, and dims in the evening with blue. It’s incredible- looks just like sunrise/midday/sunset. It cycles for the whole day, shutting off from 10pm-7am. It’s truly a beautiful light, very high quality, low cost, real metal!
This is a small aquarium light that fits on the top or side of the tank. I find that it works as described, it’s kind of like you set it and forget it. It turns on and off on its own after the first initial set up which is really simple because the timer is basically preset. You can adjust it when you want it lighter or darker but it will reset itself to original timer that is preset. I purchased 2 of these so that I have them on either side of my tank but I really use these more as an ornament because it really doesn’t light up the tank much because my tank is larger in size.It does look pretty when you look at it from a distance cause it makes the tank look super cool. The lighting is limited and may not actually fully light up your tank . I think is made for a smaller tank. My tank is a 55+ Gallon tank .I did purchase 2 of them but I still have a standard aquarium light working at the same time.To sum it up, these are a pretty and good working lights and a good working system . I did include photos of when it is at its brightest ,and also when it goes into night mode which makes it look like the moon glow . It will be solid blue for about an hour and then it will turn itself off .The last photo is of the light in night mode ,and it looks really pretty
This is an awesome little light!. I have it on a 14 gallon cube and i am using the 24/7 function and love it! My plants are already showing improvement over the old light after 48 hours! Home run Hygger!
It would be a great light if it actually worked. I’ve tried different power adapters and it’s still the same result. Amazons only solution was to return it and wait up to 4 weeks for a refund so that I could repurchase. However, I emailed Hygger, and they have already shipped me a new one.

Using this for my first live planted nano tank. It definitely can brighten a room! I find myself having to use the lowest 2 settings. Higher seems to be a bit much. I appreciate the color options, I use the dark blue at night to simulate moonlight. The orange color is great for early mornings. The 24/7 mode switches through these as the day goes on. I also like how there’s two ways to attach this. It’s very affordable for how bright it gets and how much settings it provides
