It’s working great! I use this for a CO2 scrubbing system I made. The last air pump I had didn’t have enough pressure to push the air through the system, but this one is able to accomplish that task while the only noise I can hear from it is the noise of the bubbles from the air stone, so it is very quiet. I wish I had gotten the larger one as I got the 6 watt just so I had the extra capacity if I decided I wanted it down the road since it is adjustable, but like I said, this one does work quite well. I use the scrubbing system I made to raise pH in my nano reef aquarium by bubbling in pure O2, which displaces CO2 (CO2 causes the water to become more acidic), and once I switched to this air pump, my pH jumped from 7.9-8.0 to 8.3-8.4, which will greatly benefit my tank and corals. In short, it accomplishes what I need it to while being quiet.
Bought this hoping for a more quiet air pump and it’s silent! Bought a second and now have replace 3 Fluval pumps with two of these. More air and total silence. Noise is now from air bubbles in my tank. Thank you. It’s really silent, perfect!
Best air pump i have ever bought works perfectly in my 75 gallon tank. Next month I will buy another one like it as a spare like it that much.
