Key Features
Wide, Gentle, Natural Water Flow
- Creates a broad and natural water current that prevents dead spots.
- Boosts oxygen exchange, supports beneficial bacteria, and improves filtration performance.
- Ideal for coral tanks requiring consistent water movement.

Cylindrical Flow Technology

- Distributes flow across a wider area than traditional propeller wave makers.
- Prevents direct harsh streams that frighten fish or harm plants and corals.
360° Free Rotation
- The fully rotatable power head allows for easy redirection of the flow.
- Supports horizontal, vertical, and angled configurations.
- Simply tighten the ring to the lock position securely.

Ultra-Strong Magnetic Base
- Heavy-duty magnet mounts on tank walls up to 12 mm thick, depending on model.
- Vibration-absorbing mount keeps the operation smooth and quiet.
- Easy installation and repositioning without draining the tank.
Safe, Efficient, and Quiet

Usage Tips
How It Works
- Water is drawn in through the cylindrical intake from all directions.
- The impeller creates a broad, gentle current that circulates throughout the tank.
- 360° adjustable head allows directional control for optimal flow patterns.
1. Position Properly
- Point the flow slightly upward to enhance surface agitation and oxygenation.
- For reef tanks, aim flow across corals rather than directly at them.
- Slide the pump onto the tank glass slowly to avoid scratching. Ensure the pump is fully submerged in water during use.

2. Avoid Sandstorms
- In tanks with fine sand, keep the wave maker at least 3–4 inches above the substrate.
3. Pair With Your Filtration
- Position opposite your filter outflow to eliminate dead zones.
4. Cleaning Schedule
- Clean the impeller and housing every 3–4 weeks to maintain optimal flow.
- Soak in vinegar for mineral buildup (saltwater tanks).
5. Mounting Safety
- Ensure glass thickness matches the model specs.
- Keep magnetic surfaces free of debris and sand when installing.

I am fairly new, 5 years, to the aquarium hobby and am not loyal to any one product. But with that being said, and after trying various products, I’m happy to report that Hygger has yet to let me down. I have their fans, wave maker and power head, all bought with-in the past six months. I love the quiet of each of these products.
I bought 2 of these and they do the job they were built for perfectly. I have them in 2 of my bigger tanks and the substrate stays clean, no dead spots, and my fish enjoy surfing the wave it makes!
Does a very good job for me
My 100 gal torch coral tank enjoys the cylindrical wave maker every day
