Dual Temperature Sensing Technology
The HG159 aquarium heater adopts a dual temperature probe design, which feeds back the temperature changes of the fish tank in real time to ensure accurate temperature measurement. When the actual water temp. is within 1℉ of the set temperature, it auto enters the standby state to save energy; once the temp. difference exceeds this range, it immediately starts full power heating to quickly restore the appropriate water temperature.
-Standby Mode
When the water temperature is less than 1°F from the set temperature or floating range, the heater enters standby mode, the power area shows 0, and the heating rod does not heat.
-Full Power Mode
If the water temperature is lower than the set temperature, and the temperature difference between the water temperature and the set temperature exceeds 1°F, the heater will heat at full power, and the power zone power will change in real time.
Flexible Dual Temperature Control Mode
The wire aquarium heater combines two temperature control modes by rotary knob and pressing button. Please install it at an angle of 30° to 45°. Use with a wave pump will help the probe accurately identify the temperature and heat the aquarium water evenly. Rotary temperature control is recommended, which has no noise and is more accurate and faster in temperature control.
The difference between button temperature control and rotary temperature control: one can increase by 0.1℉, and the other by 1℉.
