Precise Temperature Control
The intelligent temperature controller displays the current water temperature, set temperature, heating status, and protection signs. Its temp range is 59-93℉/15-34℃, within 1℉ accuracy. When the set temperature is reached, the temperature will automatically remain constant.
Multiple Security Protections
- Anti dry burning function, when the heater is out of the water, it will automatically power off, and the controller will display “L1” flashing.
- Overheating protection: when the temperature exceeds 93°F, the controller will display “HH” flashing.
- Low temperature protection, when the temperature is below 59°F, the controller will display “LL” flashing.
- Memory function still remembers the last setting when powered off.

Usage Tips
1. When using the hygger 167 heater, please make sure there is water circulation in the fish tank.
2. Unplug the heater and wait 15 minutes before changing the water or removing the heater from the aquarium.
3. After the suction cup is aligned with the heating rod slot, the suction cup needs to be rotated 45° to complete the installation.

The compact design makes them easy to hide behind plants and decor so that it does not disrupt the aquascape. The exterior cover keeps fish safe and evenly distributes the heat in all directions. Large LED light is easy to read. External easy to use thermostat controls make it very easy to set the temperature. The extra long heavy duty cord eliminates the need for dangerous extension cords.
I place the heater in the tank and wait 15 minutes to acclimate the heater to the water temperature before I plug it in. These heaters are accurately calibrated and hold consistent temperature.

the instructions say it can be placed horizontally, but the online instructions say no, or an x. Hygger should review it’s online instructions

Thanks for your message. The heater can be placed horizontally.
But the following installation of the heater is incorrect, or an x:
1. Lay at 45 degree;
2. Lay upside down;
3. Lay sideways;
4. Cover or bury with debris.
I appreciate the safety features, like overheat protection and automatic shut-off, giving me peace of mind. Overall, this heater is easy to use and has exceeded my expectations.
