Usage Tips
- Set the Day Timer for your preferred daylight hours (e.g., 8:00 AM–6:00 PM) and the Night Timer for evening moonlight (e.g., 6:00 PM–12:00 AM).
- A single press ‘M’ button cycles through RGB colors in the order: full spectrum-red-blue-green-pink-yellow-cyan-orange-white-random color cycling, then repeats starting from full spectrum. A quick double press switches to full spectrum.
- Press the ‘M’ button once to turn on; press and hold for 3 seconds to turn it off.
- Press the second button to adjust brightness in 5 levels.

The light quality is excellent and I love the daytime and nighttime mode. Just swapping out the light made the tank look way better. Will be buying more.
Very happy with this light. Nice and low profile, fits the tank perfectly. Brings out some great colors and plants are really thriving. I appreciate being able to adjust brightness. Only feedback: it would be nice to have an indicator to show what level brightness you’re at, or even better just a dial on the light to adjust up or down.
Beautiful lights accentuate the features of my aquarium. Easy to set up and use. I especially like the memory function that holds the settings when there is a loss of power.
Hygger is a good value planted aquarium light. It takes some time to figure out the logic of the controls because it lets you customize the lighting schedule. Once you have it set up, it is supposed to keep the settings (even after a power outage.)
With my lights I prefer to Keep It Simple Silly and use the 24/7 default timer, light color, and light intensity settings.
I like that there are presets for the day length and moon length. I have it set to 10h and 6h. The presets is what makes the controls confusing at first.
The light is a solid 5 but I took off one star because the manual could have been better written.
Awesome light extremely happy with my purchase. Setting up the light is a bit tricky to figure out the light cycle and color and brightness. Once you figure out the settings you want you are all finished you do not need to adjust the light again it will run on the cycle you set. Works great in my planted aquarium no issues.
So far I’m enjoying the different display options and toggling through them using the in line remote. I’d recommend this light to anyone looking into bigger tanks. It fits my 75 gal tank perfectly.
