Usage Tips
Clean Regularly: Wipe the heater with a soft cloth every 2–4 weeks, prevent scale buildup and lower its efficiency.
Check for Damage: Look for cracks or other damage. If you find any, replace the heater right away.
Place: Make sure the heater rod does not touch the sand or gravel on the tank bottom.
Prevent dry burning: The heater element must always be completely submerged, at least 2 inches underwater.

These heaters are a little bulkier than ones of comparable wattage, but I’m using them to replace heaters that only lasted a few weeks so I believe it reflects their solid build quality. They have a nice controller and strong suction cups and are keeping my fish toasty in both saltwater and freshwater 7 gallon cubes.
