The HG248 Naturelite light has a built-in digital timer that supports a 24-hour automatic lighting cycle, simulating natural sunrise, daylight, sunset, and night.
Custom on/off scheduling ensures the right light intensity at different times of the day for your aquariums.
Multiple Color Modes
The Naturelite aquarium light features 9 color modes that provide precise control over light output. It can easily switch modes to match different plant growth stages and viewing preferences. Press the “MODE” button to change the color range from full spectrum → Red → Blue → Green → Purple → Orange → Cyan → Yellow → Color Loop.
Power-Off Memory
The Naturelite aquarium light has a power-off memory function, which restores previous settings after outages, but it requires a 3V CR2032 battery for time retention (included in the User Manual; please install the battery before turning on the light).
Adjustable Brightness
The light has 10 adjustable brightness levels to choose from- press “-” or “+” to reduce or increase the brightness of the light 10%-20%-30%-40%-50%-60%-70%-80%-90%-100%.

Usage Tips
- Please set the local time before using the HG248 light.
- Press the “24/7” button once, and the 24/7 light turns on automatically, simulating sunrise, sunset, moonlight, and off.
- DIY Set Day Light – press “MODE” button to choose red color and long-press “TIMER” until the “ON” flash, press “-,+” to set the hour and minute time.
- DIY Set Night Light – press “MODE” button to choose blue color and long-press “TIMER” until the “ON” flash, press “-,+” to set the hour and minute time.

Hygger aquarium equipment is top notch! I use their filter, lights and siphoning kit for smaller tanks. I have two of the programable lights and one light that offers blue night light and of course daylight. My plants, fish and frogs all benefit from these special LED lights! I like the sunrise to sunset setting.
The light looks great. My only disappointment is having to use a battery. My other light did not require this. Different model.
The battery can save your setting in case of a power outage.
For regular use, it also works fine by just pugging it in without the battery.
I love the light. The battery for the controls was a little hard to put in.

I like the light,it’s pretty bright but sort of confusing to operate the timer.
Still early days of owning but it is working how my wife wanted it to and the fish seem to prefer it with the dawn and dusk setting and the plants look like the brighter light is making them head for it.
