Smart External LCD Controller

Multi-Level Safety Protections
The LCD quartz heater includes all four intelligent protection codes shown in the screenshots:
- LL→ Water temperature below 59°F (too cold).
- HH→ Water temperature reaches 94°F (overheating).
- EE→ Probe failure; heater must be replaced.
- L1→ Heater not fully submerged.
Additional built-in safety:
- Dry burn protection: heater automatically shuts off if exposed to air or the tank’s water level is low.
- Overheating protection: instantly stops heating to prevent damage when exceeding 94°F (34°C), cease heating to prevent overheating and potentially harming automatically.
- Low temperature protection: alerts you before the water temperature falls below 59°F (15°C). The controller will sound an audible alarm.
Through the intelligent chip, the heater stops heating when the water temperature exceeds 93 ℉, and automatically turns on the heating when it is lower than 59 ℉, helps safeguard your aquatic life and prevent expensive tank crashes.

Usage Tips
- How to choose the right fish tank heater
Wattage= Fish tank (length × height × width) ÷ 1000 × 2
Caution: When changing the water in your aquarium, please unplug the heater first and allow the heating rod to cool down for a while before removing it.
Tips: By pressing and holding the setting button on the controller for 2–3 seconds, you can switch between ℉ and ℃.

This heater is very efficient. I installed this in a 125 gallon aquarium that had been unheated; went from 70 (room temp) to 78 within the afternoon. I also appreciate the LCD display. I have in hanging beneath my aquarium in the cabinet, so it’s out of sight, but can be checked simply by opening a door. One of the suction cups has a difficult time staying set, but that’s my fault for placing the heater on a surface that’s already been growing biofilm for 5 year and has never been scraped (back wall of aquarium). Bottom line, I am very pleased – looks nice and works great.
