Usage Tips
Filtering Process:
1. Dirty water is drawn into the filter from its side.
2. The water first flows through a combination of microporous cotton and activated carbon sponge, which traps debris and absorbs impurities.
3. Subsequently, the water is filtered further by passing through a chamber filled with ceramic balls.
4. Clean water enters the filter’s interior, further polished by a black sponge.
5. The filtered water is pumped out through the front outlet or a rotatable outlet tap, completing the filtration cycle.
Important Notes:
1. Always monitor the tank’s water level. If it drops too low, the pump’s operation may be compromised, potentially damaging it.
2. This filter is designed for tanks with a width greater than 5.5 inches.

Great product
The filter is as described and fit well in our 7 gallon shrimp tank. We have had problems with it cavitating even after carefully reading the directions to make sure everything is in the right place and the water level is where it should be, so are not able to use the front spill outlet. It seems full flow causes it to do this. We have to use the spout and at a reduced flow rate. After 2 weeks I’ve already had to replace the white filter pad as the filter started cavitating again until I replaced that. I haven’t been able to find replacements for those pads yet but it did come with 3. I think this will be a fantastic water changer but I’m not sure if it’s going to work well as a filter due to being so touchy with the cavitating issue.
I love everything this little powerhouse filtration system works. You can change your water. And as it’s filtering The clean water back into your tank you can have it as a waterfall or like rain.
It’s quiet while it’s using it it doesn’t take much room up in your tank and it doesn’t heat it up for sure. I’m just really happy with the. Hygger.

Love the product, but I would give it 5 stars if I could find some where to buy replacement carbon filters for it.

Works great!!!! Easy to use makes water changes easier!! Filled the 5 gallon up in about 3 min. Filter works wonderful also.
