Description
Ultra quiet for a small fish tank
This small fish tank filter is driven by an air pump, it is so quiet that you can only hear the beautiful sound of bubbles bursting on the water’s surface.
Effective filtration
A mechanical pre-filter sponge captures debris and activates carbon for clean and clear aquarium water. Mini-white bubbler stone produces constant and soft bubbles to agitate the water. Slow water flow is great for betta fish, snails, and shrimp.
Easy to replace the filter cartridge
The filter cartridge contains activated carbon to remove odors, fish waste, and other impurities, while a white dense pad traps large particles in the tank. You can replace the filter cartridge every 2 to 4 weeks or as needed.
Compact fish tank filter
A single small fish tank filter measures 4.1″ x 0.8″ x 7.6″, and is recommended for 2–5 gallons of fresh and saltwater aquarium.
The dual filter measures 7″ x 0.8″ x 7.6″, and is recommended for 6–10 gallons of freshwater and saltwater aquarium.
Directions for Use
How to assemble hygger small fish tank filter
Step 1: Rinse the filter cartridge and all parts with clean water from the tank to remove the debris and dust, and clean the filter.
Step 2: Put the filter cartridge into the filter. Make sure the filter cartridge is in the card slot.
Step 3: Rotate the upper elbow to adjust the direction of the air vent.
Step 4: Place the filter on the wall of the aquarium with two suction cups or mount the hook to hang over. The hook’s height can be adjusted according to the water level.
Step 5: Connect the filter via the air tube to the air pump. The air tube should be equipped with a check valve to prevent the flow back of water.
Step 6: Plug in the air pump and go.
For better performance, it is better to keep all the lateral inlet openings of the filter below the water level.
Tips
1. Replace the filter cartridge every 2 to 4 weeks or as needed. For replacement filter cartridges, please search hygger.
2. Keeps water outlet above the water level.
